KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 210,683 tonnes of cargo comprising 101,791 tonnes of import cargo and 108,892 tonnes of export cargo during last 48 hours, ending at 0700 Hours.
The total import cargo of 101,791 tonnes comprised of 77,257 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 7,656 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 745 tonnes of Dap, 11,560 tonnes of Soya Bean Seeds & 4,573 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 108,892 tonnes comprised of 55,807 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 1,035 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 40,977 tonnes of Clinkers, 8,373 tonnes of Rice, & 2,700 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, 08 ships namely, Photon, Clipper Trent, Du Juan Song, Marine Ista, Tb Fengze, Zhe Hai 1, & Orchid Sylt berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 09 ships namely, T-Rigel, One Motivator, Hui Fa, Iwami, Gerhild, Ts Sydeny, Rdo Endeavour, C Lion, & sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of twelve ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, Team Focus, M Bristol and Scion Charlotte left the port on Monday morning, while five more ships, ONE Motivator, GFS Giselle, MSC RShrinika-V, Sheng Li and Navigator Atlantic are expected to sail on Monday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 116,342 tonnes, comprising 88,024 tonnes imports cargo and 28,318 export cargo carried in 4,737 Containers (3,114 TEUs imports &1,623 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 14 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, Euro Sun, Sakura Fortune, Grand Ocean and RDO Endeavour & another ship ‘Eleni-T’ scheduled to load/offload Rice, Steel Coil, Canola Seed and Container expected to take berth at MW-1, MW-2, FAP and QICT on Monday 9th March, 2026.
