ISLAMABAD: The government on Friday imposed a complete ban on flying quadcopters/ unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) across the country due to the prevailing security situation.
A statement issued by the Interior Ministry said that “in view of the prevailing security environment, it has been decided to impose an immediate ban on outdoor flying of quadcopters/ unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), with immediate effect and until further orders.”
It said that “in this regard, the provincial governments are requested to ensure strict enforcement of the said ban.”
