KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 201,355 tonnes of cargo comprising 108,055 tonnes of import cargo and 93,300 tonnes of export cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The total import cargo of 108,055 tonnes comprised of 51,466 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 6,795 tonnes of Canola, 2,834 tonnes of Soya Bean Seeds & 46,960 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 93,300 tonnes comprised of 54,993 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 520 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 3,006 tonnes of Cement, 34,081 tonnes of Clinkers & 700 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, 04, shipps namely Golden Denise, Xin Fu Zhou, Marine Ista & Kota Santos berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 02 ships namely, Wan Hai 316 & Cmb Teniers sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of seven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a gas carrier ‘Doha’ left the port on Tuesday morning, while two more ships, Eleni-T and Ameena Jehan.
Cargo volume of 102,396 tonnes, comprising 64,712 tonnes imports cargo and 37,684 export cargo carried in 3,250 Containers (1,400 TEUs Imports & 1,850 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 10 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Navigator Celtic and Lofty Mountain & four more ships, Spirit of Bertram, GFS Genesis, PS Hamburg and Lebrethan with LPG, Coal, Container, Mogas and LNG expected to take berth at EVTL, MW-4, FOTCO, QICT and PGPCL on Tuesday 24th February, 2026.
