KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX, the total traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS, Indices, and Agricultural commodities stood at PKR 30.917 billion with 40,020 lots traded.
The highest activity was recorded in COTS (PKR 16.105 billion) followed by Gold (PKR 5.339 billion), NSDQ100 (PKR 3.838 billion), Japan Equity 225 (PKR 1.782 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.740 billion), Platinum (PKR 511.263 million), SP500 (PKR 463.072 million), Wheat (PKR 456.356 million), Natural Gas (PKR 198.539 million), Brent (PKR 154.807 million), DJ (PKR 124.597 million), Copper (PKR 112.182 million), Palladium (PKR 47.513 million), Aluminum (PKR 33.182 million) and Cotton (PKR 11.771 million).
In Agricultural commodities, a total of 70 lots were traded, amounting to PKR 468.127 million, mainly in Wheat, followed by Cotton, while Corn and Soybean remained inactive.
