KARACHI: On Thursday, at PMEX, the total traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS, Indices, and Agricultural commodities stood at PKR 25.908 billion with 30,466 lots traded.
The highest activity was recorded in COTS (PKR 12.382 billion) followed by Gold (PKR 6.188 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.719 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.008 billion), Japan Equity 225 (PKR 1.136 billion), Platinum (PKR 402.083 million), Brent (PKR 216.784 million), Cotton (PKR 186.888 million), SP500 (PKR 180.818 million), Wheat (PKR 124.985 million), Natural Gas (PKR 122.171 million), Soybean (PKR 64.001 million), Aluminium (PKR 50.570 million), Palladium (PKR 47.555 million), DJ (PKR 41.596 million) and Copper (PKR 36.970 million).
In Agricultural commodities, a total of 126 lots were traded, amounting to PKR 375.874 million, mainly in Cotton, followed by Wheat and Soybean, while Corn remained inactive.
