KARACHI: As the holy month of Ramazan begins, Thomas E. Schultze, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, has conveyed a message of peace, reflection, and unity.
In his message, Schultze described Ramadan as a time when families and friends gather and communities come together in solidarity. He noted that the year has started with distressing news in his host country and observed that many parts of the world are facing conflicts, violence, and loss. “At such a time, Ramadan’s message of reflection, compassion, and reconciliation is more important than ever,” he said.
The Consul General expressed his thoughts especially for those whose lives have been overshadowed by crisis and for families who will not be able to reunite as they once did. He emphasized the importance of empathy, strengthening communities, and renewing a shared commitment to peace and mutual understanding.
Concluding his message, Schultze extended his wishes for a peaceful and meaningful Ramadan to all. “May this month bring you and your loved ones strength and serenity,” he said, ending with “Ramazan Mubarak.”
