ISLAMABAD: Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Ltd (SNGPL) on Tuesday announced to supply uninterrupted gas supply to consumers of Punjab, Khyber Paktunkwa, Islamabad and parts of Azad Jummu Kashmir from 3am to 10:30 pm during Ramazan.
While, Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) also announced the gas supply schedule for Ramazan to facilitate consumers during Sehri and Iftar hours.
According to schedule issued by SSGC, gas will be available in the morning from 3am to 9am and in the evening from 3:30pm to 10pm. Announcement said that gas supply will remain suspended during the day from 9am to 3:30pm and at night from 10pm to 3am.
The sui gas companies have advised citizens to strictly follow the announced timings to avoid inconvenience.
On the other hand, the consumers have also been warned against using gas compressors, stating that its use is illegal, unsafe, and unethical.
Ahead of Ramazan, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had already announced a maximum price for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), fixing the consumer cap at Rs226.05 per kilogram, effective from February 1 to 28, 2026.
The maximum price of an 11.8kg LPG cylinder set at Rs2,667.40, offering price certainty to consumers who rely on LPG for cooking and heating during the month.
