LAHORE: Lahore High Court Chief Justice Alia Neelum has said that providing timely and transparent justice to the litigants requires collective efforts of the bar and the bench.
She also stressed on better coordination between the bar and the bench and stated that resolving lawyers’ issues is her top priority. The Chief Justice said this during her meeting with delegations from various district and tehsil bar associations including the Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Jhang, Layyah, Lodhran, Hafizabad, and Wazirabad. Presidents and secretaries of tehsil bar associations from Bhira, Kharian, Kabirwala, and Gujar Khan also attended the meeting.
The discussions focused on challenges faced by lawyers, improvement of facilities in courts, early disposal of cases, and strengthening the judicial system at the district level.
