LAHORE: The Pakistan Flour Mills Association (PFMA) will establish 1,550 dedicated flour sale points across Punjab as part of its Ramazan relief initiative to ensure the availability of flour at controlled and subsidised rates throughout the province.

PFMA Group Leader and former chairman Asim Raza in a statement on Monday said that at these sale points, a 10kg flour bag will be available for Rs905, while a 20kg bag will be sold at Rs1,810 to facilitate consumers during the holy month.

In addition, he announced that 10kg flour bags will be sold for Rs850 at 64 Sahulat Bazaars and Ramazan Sahulat Bazaars set up by the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

He maintained that routine flour supplies at retail outlets across Punjab will continue as usual to prevent any disruption in the open market. The PFMA reiterated that it stands shoulder to shoulder with the provincial government to provide maximum relief to the public during Ramazan by ensuring price stability and uninterrupted supply.
