KARACHI: President of the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) Muhammad Ikram Rajput and Acting Patron-in-Chief Zubair Chhaya have expressed deep concern over the growing number of stray dogs and increasing incidents of dog bites in the city. They stated that the issue is becoming a serious threat not only to residents but also to workers and business owners in industrial areas.
They said that particularly in the Korangi Industrial Area and its adjoining residential neighbourhoods, the large number of stray dogs is creating severe difficulties for factory employees, women workers, school-going children, and elderly citizens commuting to and from workplaces.
