LAHORE: Punjab Housing, Urban Development, and Public Health Engineering Minister Bilal Yasin formally dispatched a relief consignment for the Palestinians.

According to an official on Monday, acting on the directions of Prime Minister Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif, another consignment of relief goods, a total of 100 tons of relief supplies were sent through a special flight from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore. The relief goods will be delivered to Palestinian brothers via Egypt. So far, more than 2,700 tons of relief items have been sent through 28 relief consignments.

On this occasion, the Minister appreciated the efforts of the National Disaster Management Authority and Al-Khidmat Foundation for their valuable role in humanitarian assistance.

He stated that Pakistan has always stood shoulder to shoulder with the Palestinian people on every front.

He added that the provision of relief goods reflects Pakistan’s shared values, brotherhood and moral responsibility. He reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue to raise its voice at all possible forums for the freedom of Palestine.
