PSL 11: Islamabad, Karachi, Quetta and Peshawar unveil retained players
- First-ever players' auction to take place on February 11; tournament begins on March 26
Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, and Peshawar Zalmi have announced their retained players for the upcoming HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11, as franchises begin finalizing their squads ahead of the player auction.
Islamabad United have retained captain Shadab Khan in the Platinum category. Fast bowler Salman Irshad has been retained in the Gold category, while South African batter Andries Gous will continue with the franchise in the Silver category.
Karachi Kings have retained fast bowler Hasan Ali in the Platinum category, while Abbas Afridi has been named in the Diamond category.
All-rounder Khushdil Shah will remain part of the Kings’ squad in the Gold category, whereas wicketkeeper-batter Saad Baig has been retained in the Emerging category.

Quetta Gladiators, meanwhile, confirmed the retention of Abrar Ahmed, Usman Tariq, Hassan Nawaz, and Shamyl Hussain for Season 11.
Peshawar Zalmi announced Babar Azam as their Platinum retention, with Sufiyan Muqeem retained in the Diamond category, Abdul Samad in the Gold category, and Ali Raza in the Emerging category.
The announcements come ahead of the HBL PSL 11 player draft, scheduled for February 11.
The tournament is set to take place from March 26 to May 3, 2026.
