KARACHI: Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon on Sunday condemned the killing of women and children by militants in Balochistan and termed it an act of open barbarity and inhumanity, asserting that such actions demonstrate the terrorists’ moral defeat.
In a statement, he remarked that targeting innocent civilians proved that insurgents do not represent any genuine ideology or struggle.
Memon lauded the recent successful operations carried out by security forces against terrorists linked to Fitna-ul-Hindustan, describing the actions as a matter of national pride.
He paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland’s peace and stability, calling them the true heroes of the nation and promising their sacrifices would never go in vain.
Appreciating the extraordinary courage and professionalism of the security personnel, the senior minister stated that their high morale under difficult circumstances sends a clear message to the enemy.
He reiterated that the entire nation stands united with the Pakistan Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies, adding that terrorist networks are backed by external sponsors.
Memon affirmed that the fight against terrorism is a collective national struggle and that operations will persist until the last terrorist and their facilitator are eliminated, expressing confidence that the state, its people, and security institutions are united to defeat the enemy on every front.
