Pakistan govt increases diesel price by Rs11.30

The government has hiked high-speed diesel price (HSD) for the next fortnight, following recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

As per the notification issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been increased by Rs 11.30 per litre, now priced at Rs 268.38 per litre compared to Rs 257.08 earlier. Whereas, the price of petrol (MS) has been kept unchanged.

The federal government has revised the prices of petroleum products for the next fortnight, effective from February 1.

During the last fortnightly review, the government kept the petrol price unchanged, and slashed high speed diesel by Rs14 per litre.
