KARACHI: Ameena Saiyid of Lightstone Publishers announces the publication of Benazir Bhutto. She Walked into the Fire by Farhatullah Babar published by Lightstone Publishers.

This book is a searing memoir of power, exile, betrayal and unyielding power. Written by Farhatullah Babar, a longtime speechwriter and spokesperson for Benazir Bhutto, it offers a rare, unflinching and intimate account of a woman who dared to return to a battlefield she knew was laid with mines for her.

Ameena Saiyid and Omayr Aziz Saiyid of Lightstone Publishers addressed the media, introduced Farhatullah Babar and spoke of Lightstone’s publishing programme. Columnist Naazir Mahmood, President, Karachi Press Club Fazil Jamili spoke followed by Farhatullah Babar who addressed the media and answered questions at length.

Babar said by writing this book, he has fulfilled his commitment to BB about making public her struggles, thoughts and journey.
