KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 170,414 tonnes of cargo comprising 118,860 tonnes of import cargo and 51,554 tonnes of export cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 Hours.

The total import cargo of118,860 tonnes comprised of 63,698 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 26,765 tonnes of Bulk Cargo, 628 tonnes of Canola, & 27,769 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.

The total export cargo of 51,554 tonnes comprised of 28,929 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 185 tonnes of B. Bulk Cargo, 12,040 tonnes of Clinkers, & 10,400 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.

Around, 08 ships namely, Daria, Lv Estia, X-Press Pisces, Bohwa Amoy, Esl Dachan Bay, Weco Tati, Sierra, & Tss Amber berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.

Approximately, 06 ships namely Dm Jade, Thomas Selmer, Sloman Dispatcher, Bow Flora, Celsius Emmen, & Kiran Anatolia sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.

PORT QASIM

A total of twelve ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them eight ships, CMA CGM Verdi, Zhuo Yue Yuan Yang, Hansa Africa, FEHU, Bulk Bolivia, Sheng Hang-005, Eva Trust and Galaxy Gas are expected to sail on Thursday.

Cargo volume of 180,154 tonnes, comprising 148,564 tonnes imports cargo and 31,590 export cargo carried in 4,773 Containers (3,483 TEUs Imports & 1,291 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.

There are 19 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them three ships, ST Mary, Manina and Gas Aurora & two more ships, MSC Glory and Spirit of Bertram carrying Palm oil, Fertilizer, Gas oil and Container expected to take berths at LCT, FAP, EVTL and QICT on Thursday 15th January, 2026.
