ISLAMABAD: A delegation of World Liberty Financial USA, led by CEO Zachary Witkoff, met Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), in a meeting that reflected rising international interest in Pakistan’s fintech sector and digital finance potential, the ISPR said on Wednesday.
According to the military’s media wing, the meeting underscored the growing interest of global private investment groups in Pakistan’s evolving economic landscape, with discussions focused on strengthening financial inclusion and enabling technology-led growth.
Witkoff highlighted the “immense economic potential” Pakistan holds and lauded the leadership’s efforts in adopting futuristic technologies to unlock the country’s broader economic capabilities.
