KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 183,245 Tons of cargo comprising 123,592 Tons of import cargo and 59,653 Tons of export cargo during last 24 hrs ending at 0700 Hours.

The total import cargo of 123,592 Tons comprised of 35,304 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 31,691 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 9,681 Tons of DAP and 46,916 Tons of Liquid Cargo.

The total export cargo of 59,653 Tons comprised of 31,050 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 340 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 22,100 Tons of Clinkers, and 2,713 Tons of Talc Powder and 3,450 Tons of Liquid Cargo.

There are eight ships namely Hyundai Hong Kong, Ycpansy, Wan Hai 622, Xin Pu Dong, DM Jade, Chemroad Wing, GSL Christen, and Al Soor Ii on Berth at Karachi Port Trust.

Nine ships namely Eleni T, Bao Feng Hua 1, Cosco Glory, GFS Genesis, Hyundai Hong Kong, Red Cosmos, Yc Pansy, M.T. Mardan and M.T. Shalamar Sailed from Karachi Port Trust.

Port Qasim

A total of twelve ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a containers ship ‘MSC Michaela’ left the port morning, while five more ships, Eleni-T, Semiha Ahmet-M, Common Galaxy, YC Pancy and Mraikh are expected to sail on afternoon.

Cargo volume of 174,221 tonnes, comprising 134,208 tonnes imports cargo and 40,013 export cargo carried in 3,690 Containers (2,440 TEUs Imports & 1,250 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.

There are 22 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, MSC Jeanni-IV, GFS Genesis, Snarth, Galaxy and FEHU and another ship ‘EVA Trust’ carrying Container, Palm oil, LPG, Coal and Chemicals expected to take berths at QICT, MW-1, SSGC, PIBT and EVTL on today13th January, 2026.
