Cold weather to persist

KARACHI: The prevailing cold and dry weather is expected to persist in Karachi, with chilly nights and occasional misty or foggy mornings, the Met Office said on Saturday.

It forecast that the dry conditions are likely to prevail over the next few days, and no rainfall is expected. Dry weather accompanied by cold nights and misty or foggy mornings is expected to prevail across the plains of Sindh, according to the latest weather forecast.

On Sunday, dry weather with a cold night will continue. The minimum temperature is expected to range between 8°C and 10°C, while the maximum temperature will remain between 24°C and 26°C. Morning humidity is likely to stay between 50 and 60 percent, with evening humidity ranging from 10 to 20 percent. Winds will remain north-easterly. On Monday: Dry weather with a cold night is forecast. The minimum temperature is expected to be between 9°C and 11°C, while the maximum temperature will remain around 24°C to 26°C.
