KARACHI: The total cargo handled at Karachi Port during the last 28 hours closed at 337,920 metric tonnes. The break-up shows that the port has handled 129,618 Metric tonnes of export cargo and 208,302 Metric tonnes of import cargo during the said period.
Around, 06 ships namely, MT Mardan, BBG Ocean, Marine Ista, GFS Genesis, APL APL Qingdao and Ocean Ersa berthed at the Karachi Port.
Approximately, 04 ships namely Al Soor II, Albert P, Hyundai Forece and Hoang ANH 08 have sailed off from the Karachi Port.
PORT QASIM
A total of eight ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a Engro carrier ‘JBU Sapphire’ left the port on today morning, while three more ships, MSC Veracruz, Poineer Gas and Al-Bidda are expected to sail on Monday.
Cargo volume of103,559 tonnes, comprising 96,714 tonnes imports cargo and6,845 export cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 14 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, Paccha, YC Daisy, Horizon, Hui Doung-36 and MSC Veracruz & another ship ‘Al-Berth’ carrying Mogas, LPG, Chemicals, MEP Cockl and Container are expected to take berths at FOTCO, SSGC, EVTL, PIBT and QICT on Monday 29th December, 2025.
