EU’s Kallas voices confidence about agreement on use of Russia’s frozen assets

FRANKFURT: EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said she was confident that European Union leaders would come to an agreement on the use of frozen Russian assets to help finance Ukraine’s defence and reconstruction ahead of a crucial EU summit on Thursday.

Speaking to German radio channel Deutschlandfunk, she said it would not be the first time that a solution was found in a highly complex situation.‑Reuters
