Pakistan U-19 qualify for Asia Cup semifinals with 70-run win over UAE

Pakistan Under-19 cricket team booked their place in the semi-finals of the U-19 Asia Cup after defeating the United Arab Emirates by 70 runs in Dubai on Tuesday.

Batting first in their final group-stage match, Pakistan posted a competitive total of 240 for 9 in the allotted overs. Ahmed Hussain anchored the innings with a well-compiled 65, while Samir Minhas provided solid support with 44 runs.

In response, the UAE side struggled against Pakistan’s disciplined bowling attack and was bowled out for 171.

Abdul Subhan was the pick of the bowlers, claiming four wickets to derail the chase.

The U-19 Asia Cup semi-finals are scheduled to be played on Friday.
