LAHORE: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Saturday conducted a field operation during which an unhygienic murabba (preserve) manufacturing unit was sealed and a criminal case was registered.
During the operation, 36,000 kilograms of murabba, rotten vegetables, and hazardous chemicals were destroyed. Large quantities of substandard carrot, amla, and harar murabba were recovered and disposed of on the spot.
