Dhabeji substation & grid station: KE requests shutdown for maintenance work today

KARACHI: K-Electric has formally requested the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) to schedule a shutdown to carry out annual maintenance work at the Dhabeji substation and grid station.

According to the KWSC Spokesperson, K-Electric will do this annual maintenance on Tuesday, December 09, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. During this period, power supply to various feeders of the Dhabeji pumping station will remain partially suspended.

Due to the shutdown, the city’s water supply is expected to decrease by approximately 200 million gallons. As a result, water supply to Landhi, Korangi, Shah Faisal, DHA, Chanesar Town, Jinnah Town, North Nazimabad, and Gulberg Town will be partially affected.
