ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday initiated the process of declaring Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi a proclaimed offender due to his continued non-appearance in the court in the November 26 protest case.
While hearing the case, ATC Judge Abual Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain initiated the process of declaring Afridi, along with provincial ministers Meena Khan Afridi and Dr Amjad, as proclaimed offenders due to their failure to appear before the court.
The court ordered that notices be pasted at the residences of the accused regarding the initiation of the process. The three PTI leaders continue to remain absent from court despite the issuance of repeated summons.
