Saqib to represent Pakistan at 2 global digital asset forums
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s growing footprint in the global digital economy received a major boost as Minister of State Bilal bin Saqib is set to represent the country at two high-profile international digital asset forums this month, marking a significant milestone for Pakistan’s emerging tech and Web3 landscape, sources said on Wednesday.
According to official sources, Bilal bin Saqib, who also serves as Chairman of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, will address the Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai on December 4, one of the world’s leading gatherings on digital assets, blockchain innovation, and emerging technologies.
The Minister of State is also scheduled to participate in another major global forum on digital assets in Abu Dhabi on December 9, where top global experts, policymakers, and industry leaders will be in attendance.
Sources said his participation at these events reflects Pakistan’s rising relevance in the global digital economy and highlights the government’s commitment to strengthening its regulatory and innovation framework for virtual assets, fintech, and emerging technologies.
