ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq addressed the International Quran Recitation Competition held in Islamabad, terming it a blessing and an honour to participate in such a spiritually enriching gathering.

The Speaker expressed deep satisfaction at attending the sacred event, appreciating the participation of Qaris from 36 countries, which he said is truly commendable. He added that the competition was not only a display of mastery in the Holy Quranic recitation but also a powerful symbol of unity within the Muslim world.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq conveyed his gratitude to Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Yusuf for inviting him to this blessed ceremony. He stated that the gathering reflects the shared reverence of the Muslim Ummah for the Holy Quran.

Highlighting the significance of the Holy Quran, the Speaker said that the Holy Quran is a complete code of life that has guided humanity out of the darkness of ignorance. He emphasised that the Holy Quran remains the eternal source of guidance, enlightenment, peace, and spiritual solace. He added that acting upon the teachings of the Holy Quran paves the way for success in this world and the hereafter.

The Speaker also extended his best wishes to all participating Qaris from across the Muslim world and appreciated their dedication to the art of Quranic recitation.
