KARACHI: The Seventh Brand Ambassador Programme was organised in collaboration with the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh Secretariat and the Institute of Business Administration. Sindh Ombudsman Mohammad Sohail Rajput, IBA Registrar Masood Ishrat also participated.
Dean Students Affairs Maheen Ghauri welcomed the Sindh Ombudsman and other guests.
The Sindh Ombudsman said that the aim of the Brand Ambassador Programme is to create awareness and partnership among young students about the Sindh Ombudsman office.
He said that with the support of IBA, we will select ten students from the institute as ambassadors and will provide them with all the basic information about the Provincial Ombudsman Office. On this basis, they will be able to take steps to immediately rectify the irregularities or abuses related to government departments around them free of cost. Also, it will be helpful in making others aware about the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh Office.
Rajput said that the results of the previous six Ambassador Programs were very positive and we hope that the seventh Ambassador Program will also move forward successfully.
The Ombudsman also gave detailed answers to the questions of the students during the question answer session.
Earlier, Advisor to Provincial Ombudsman Rehana G. Ali Memon and Registrar Masood Ishrat also spoke.
