KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 215,920 tonnes of cargo comprising 15,003 tonnes of import cargo and 65,917 tonnes of export cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The total import cargo of 150,003 tonnes comprised of 58,862 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 8,193 tonnes of B. Bulk Cargo, 2,203 tonnes of Lentils, 2,607 tonnes of Soya Bean Seeds, & 78,138 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 65,917 tonnes comprised of 60,612 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 490 tonnes of B. Bulk Cargo, 1,405 tonnes of Clinkers & 3,410 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, 04 ships namely, Xin Shanghai, Nara, Hyundai Courage, & Xin Pu Don berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 06 ships namely Em Fortune, Ts Keelung, Engiadina, Gsl Christen, Gsf Giselle, & Seaspan Brightness, sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
