Railway saloons fares significantly reduced

LAHORE: Pakistan Railways, under the directives of the Federal Minister for Railways, has significantly reduced the fares of railway saloons. This reduction applies to the saloons of the Minister for Railways, Chairman Railways, CEO Railways and IG Railways. The revised fares have been enforced with immediate effect.

According to the details, the fare of the saloon from Karachi to Rawalpindi has been reduced from 500,000 to 172,000 rupees. Similarly, the Karachi to Lahore saloon fare has been lowered from 420,000 to 150,000 rupees.

The Lahore to Rawalpindi fare has also been reduced from 105,000 to 44,000 rupees.

To make the booking process more convenient, saloon booking will now be available at all divisional offices. For bookings through the headquarters, interested individuals may contact the office of the Chief Commercial Manager. Pakistan Railways remains committed to continuing its efforts to enhance public convenience and improve service quality.
