KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 153,182 tonnes of cargo comprising 75,642 tonnes of import cargo and 77,540 tonnes of export cargo during last24shours, ending at 0700 Hours.
The total import cargo of 75,642 tonnes comprised of 56,271 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 10,095 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 5,139 tonnes of Lentils, 3,037 tonnes of Rock Phosphate & 1,100 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 77,540 tonnes comprised of 42,387 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 301 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 250 tonnes of Cement, 23,502 tonnes of Clinkers & 11,100 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, GFS Giselle, GSL Christen, Londra, Kurt Mas, Seaspan Brightness, P Aliki, Swan Lake, Celsius Emmen & Maximos berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Portland II, Northern Practise, Zhong GU XI AN,HUI FA, Pan Spirit, CMA CGM Maupassant, Dong Minh & CSPC LEO sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of eight ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a gas carrier ‘Lian Yang Hu’ left the port on Wednesday morning, while four more ships, Sky Gate, Golden Curl, Captain Sitaras and Navigator Leo expected to sail on today afternoon.
Cargo volume of79,564 tonnes, comprising 77,314 tonnes imports cargo and 2,250 export cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours. There are 17 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them six ships, Aquavita Bay, Xin Ao Tia-1, Bolan, Rabigh Sunshine, Poineer Gas and Hansa Africa & another ship ‘CMA CGM Otello’ scheduled to load/offload Cement, Palm oil, Mogas, Chemicals, LPG and Container are expected to take berths at MW-2, LCT, FOTCO, EVTL, SSGC and QICT on Wednesday 26th November, Meanwhile two more ships, MSC Shreya-B and MSC Mediterranean-III are due to arrive at outer Anchorage on 27th November 2025.
