ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued a draft Insurance Guarantee Format for exporters under the Export Facilitation Scheme.
In this regard, the FBR has issued the Draft Insurance Guarantee Format under Export Facilitation Rules notified vide SRO 957(I)/2021 dated 30.07.2021.
Users of this scheme have included Exporters (Manufacturers cum Exporters, Commercial Exporters, Indirect Exporters), Common Export Houses, Vendors and International Toll Manufacturers.
FBR revises concessions under export facilitation scheme
The FBR has issued draft of both the irrevocable and unconditional guarantees for the exporters.
The “insurance guarantee” means a guarantee issued by an insurance company registered with the Ministry of Commerce and has a minimum Pakistan Credit Rating Agency rating of “AA”, FBR added.
The exporters can obtain a copy of the draft Insurance Guarantee Format from the FBR website.
