KARACHI: Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori on Saturday attended the opening ceremony of the Over 40 T20 Cricket World Cup as a special guest.

The Governor said the assembly of teams from 12 countries in Karachi for the International Masters Cricket Competition will create new history at the global level.

Teams from Pakistan, Australia, South Africa, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, USA, Canada, Hong Kong, UAE, Saudi Arabia and ‘Rest of the World’ are participating in the Over 40 T20 World Cup.

Shahid Afridi, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Abdul Razzaq, Muhammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik and Kamran Akmal are part of the Pakistan team.

All matches of the 42-match tournament will be broadcast live, said Governor Sindh. This global tournament will significantly increase Pakistan’s honor, prestige and international confidence.
