KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 167,826 tonnes of cargo comprising 99,217 tonnes of import cargo and 68,609 tonnes of export cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The total import cargo of 99,217 tonnes comprised of 50,610 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 2,446 tonnes of Palm Kernel Expeller, 816 tonnes of Sugar, & 45,300 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 68,609 tonnes comprised of 39,363 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 3,968 tonnes of Cement, & 25,278 tonnes of Clinkers.
Around, 06 ships namely, Araya Bhum, Kmtc Manila, M.T Sargodha, Spirit of Bertram, Araya Bhum, & Ayrin, berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 04 ships namely, Xtprosperity, Arion, Spirit of Bfrtram, & Kmtc Manila, sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, MSC Vittoria and CMA CGM Zanzibar left the port on Thursday morning, while six more ships, Al-Amal, Hansa Africa, Navios Verde, Banglar Agradoot, Manta Sena and Kassiopi GR are expected to sail on Thursday afternoon.
Cargo volume of181,951 tonnes, comprising 116,682 tonnes imports cargo and65,269 export cargo carried in 6,252 Containers (2,615 TEUs Imports & 3,637 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 13 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, Navios Verde, Taokas Wisdom, Sky Gate, Ncc Huda and Al-Soor-II scheduled to load/offload Container, Iron Ore, Suger, Palm oil and Gas oil are expected to take berths at QICT, MW-1, MW-2, LCT and FOTCO on Thursday 20th November, 2025.
