KARACHI: The Director General of Health Sindh has issued the daily report regarding the dengue situation in the province, stating that new dengue cases have been reported in government and private hospitals across Sindh during the last 24 hours.
According to the report, 70 new dengue patients were admitted to government hospitals, while 80 new patients were admitted to private hospitals. Thus, the total number of hospitalized dengue patients across the province has reached 155.
Further details show that 27 new patients were admitted to government hospitals in the Karachi division, while 25 new patients were reported in government hospitals in Hyderabad.
A total of 82 patients recovered and were discharged from government hospitals, while 53 patients recovered in private hospitals.
According to the Director General of Health Sindh, 4,620 individuals underwent dengue tests in government and private laboratories across the province during the last 24 hours, out of which 641 tested positive. According to the data, 325 positive cases were reported from laboratories in Karachi, and 316 positive cases were reported in Hyderabad labs.
The report further states that no dengue-related deaths were reported in Sindh during the last 24 hours.
