LAHORE: A delegation of the Pakistan Traders & Manufacturers Alliance (PTMA) visited the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) to discuss current economic situation, challenges faced by markets, and the impact of government policies.
LCCI President Faheem ur Rehman Saigol, Senior Vice President Tanveer Ahmad Sheikh, SAARC Chamber Vice President and former LCCI President Mian Anjum Nisar, former Senior Vice President Zafar Mahmood Chaudhry, and Executive Committee Member Riaz Shahid welcomed the delegation. The delegation was led by Alliance President Waqar Ali and Chairman Nabeel Mahmood Tariq, while other participants included Syed Ahmed Ali, Malik Irfan Sultan, Haji Ashfaq, Hafiz Imran, Raja Imran, Aslam Barkati, Khawaja Asim, and others.
During the meeting, participants discussed traders’ practical challenges, strict regulations, actions by the PERA Force, declining market confidence, and steps needed to improve the business environment.
