Dar to visit Belgium for Pakistan-EU strategic dialogue
- Will also participate in the 4th EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will leave for Belgium on a three-day visit to attend the seventh strategic dialogue between Pakistan and the European Union (EU).
In a statement on Wednesday, Foreign Office (FO) said that the deputy PM will undertake an official visit to Brussels from November 9 till 21 at the invitation of the EU High Representative/Vice President for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, to co-chair the 7th session of Pakistan-EU Strategic Dialogue.
“The Strategic Dialogue is the highest level of institutionalised interaction between the two sides.
It will review cooperation between Pakistan and EU in all sectors under the Pakistan-EU Strategic Engagement Plan 2019,“the FO said.
During the visit, Dar will also participate in the 4th EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum.
A number of bilateral meetings and engagements with the senior EU officials are also planned on the sidelines of the Forum, added the FO.
