ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday said that all those who were involved in the November 11 suicide outside the District Court Complex in Islamabad’s G-11 Sector have been traced, while their facilitators have been arrested.

Naqvi shared the development during a meeting with Acting US Ambassador Natalie Baker, saying that the attackers had planned to target the court building but failed to enter due to strict security measures. “All those involved in the attack have been traced, and the facilitators have been arrested,” Naqvi said, adding that investigations into the incident are under way from every angle.

According to an official statement, Ambassador Baker condemned the suicide bombing near the court complex and offered condolences to the families of the victims. She also acknowledged Pakistan’s sacrifices and continued efforts in the fight against terrorism.

Mohsin Naqvi said that negotiations and terrorist attacks cannot go hand in hand. He also stated that Pakistan-US relations are based on friendship and mutual trust. Natalie Baker appreciated Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts.
