Hasan Nawaz returns to T20I tri-series squad after Samad’s injury

Pakistan batter Abdul Samad has been ruled out of the upcoming T20I tri-series after suffering a hand injury during a fielding session in Rawalpindi.

According to media reports, the incident occurred on Tuesday evening at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium when a ball struck Samad’s left hand, causing a split wound on his little finger.

He was taken to the hospital for a medical procedure and will need around four weeks to recover before he can return to competitive cricket.

In response to the setback, the board has added Hasan Nawaz to the squad as Samad’s replacement for the tri-series. The young batter is scheduled to join the team on November 19.
