Cases before SC, courts: FBR assigns monitoring role to DG Law

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has empowered the Directorate General of Law for monitoring and supervising matters related to cases filed before the appellate tribunal, high courts and the Supreme Court.

In this regard, the FBR has issued functions, jurisdiction & powers of the Directorate-General/Directorates of Law.

The FBR has also specified the powers of the Directors, Directorate of Law, Karachi, Quetta, Lahore, KPK, and Islamabad.
