KARACHI: Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori has expressed grief over the death of Dr Arifa Syeda Zahra, renowned educationist and human rights activist.

He prayed Allah Almighty to place the departed soul on the highest rank heavens and grant patience to the bereaved family.

“My feelings are with the bereaved family in this hour of grief,” he consoled adding the nation has lost a great teacher, researcher and social leader.

Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab also grieved on the demise of Dr Arifa and offered condolences on the passing of renowned educationist and human rights activist.

He said, “I am with Dr Arifa’s family in this difficult time.”

He praised Dr Arifa Syeda Zahra’s academic and social services and termed as unforgettable. She played a prominent role in promoting education, women’s rights, and harmony.

He prayed for ‘Maghfrat’ of the deceased and for patience and courage to the family.
