Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Irfan Siddiqui has been placed on a ventilator after his health condition deteriorated, family sources confirmed on Sunday.
Aaj News quoted his family sources as saying that Senator Siddiqui had been unwell for several days, but his condition worsened suddenly, following which he was transferred to a hospital where doctors decided to place him on life support.
Government sources said Siddiqui’s ill health comes at a crucial time, as the 27th Constitutional Amendment is set to be presented in the Senate on Monday (today).
