In his message to the nation on the Iqbal Day, the Governor said the foundation of Pakistan includes Iqbal’s dream and the Quaid’s struggle. Iqbal’s dream was an independent, self-reliant, dignified and developed Pakistan.

Today, he emphasized, we must pledge to make Iqbal’s thoughts a part of our individual life, national character and collective attitudes. Iqbal’s poetry is a message of awakening, unity and self-respect of the Muslim Ummah. It is important to educate the youth about the teachings and thoughts of great philosopher and poet Allama Iqbal.

It is our obligation that every citizen should play one’s role with all sincerity and seriousness in the social and economic uplift of the country.
