KARACHI: Alkhidmat Hospital Nazimabad has been granted a regular license by the Sindh Healthcare Commission (SHCC) following a comprehensive inspection and evaluation process, Alkhidmat Karachi announced on Friday.
The license certificate was presented by SHCC CEO Dr. Ahsan Qavi Siddiqui to Alkhidmat Karachi CEO Naveed Ali Baig during a formal ceremony attended by senior officials from both organizations, including Dr. Altaf Hussain Khawaja, Dr. Nargis Kulsoom, and Dr. Saqib Ansari.
Dr. Ahsan Qavi Siddiqui said the SHCC issues regular licenses only after verifying full compliance with prescribed healthcare standards. He appreciated Alkhidmat Hospital for meeting all requirements and urged continuous improvement in service quality after licensing.
The evaluation process included multiple stages such as registration and provisional licensing before the regular license was awarded. With this addition, the number of licensed hospitals in Sindh has reached 132, according to the Commission.
Speaking on the occasion, Naveed Ali Baig termed the license a “significant milestone” for Alkhidmat, adding, “This achievement reflects our commitment to quality healthcare. We aim to sustain and enhance these standards further.”
