LAHORE: Fatima Memorial Hospital organized the first International Integrated Health Sciences and Research Conference, here on Wednesday bringing together national and international healthcare professionals, academicians and researchers.
The conference was inaugurated by Prof Dr Tayyab Abbas, Principal, School of Health Sciences (Nur–Fatima Memorial System). Prof Dr Khalid Masood Gondal, Vice-Chancellor, Fatima Jinnah Medical University, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Shahima Rehman, Chairperson, Nur–Fatima Memorial System, and Prof Dr Mahmood Ayaz, vice-chancellor, King Edward Medical University, also addressed the audience and shared their insights on the importance of integrating research and innovation in healthcare.
Following the inaugural session, a series of scientific sessions, poster and oral presentations, and expert lectures were conducted, featuring specialists from medicine, dentistry, nursing, allied health sciences, and research disciplines who presented their work and findings.
The conference concluded with closing remarks by Prof Dr Abid Ashar, Principal, Fatima Memorial College of Dentistry, followed by the distribution of shields and souvenirs among distinguished guests.
The event reflected Fatima Memorial System’s commitment to advancing medical education and research in Pakistan, aiming to enhance patient care and elevate the overall quality of healthcare through innovation and collaboration.
