President HCSTSI appreciates minister

HYDERABAD: President of Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industry (HCSTSI), Muhammad Saleem Memon, has highly appreciated the initiative taken by MQM Pakistan’s Convener and Federal Minister for Education, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, for increasing 100 additional seats in the discipline of Computer Science at the Hyderabad Institute.

He stated that in today’s era, Computer Science, Information Technology and Digital Education are the true tools of empowerment through which our youth can compete with the world. This decision will not only provide modern educational opportunities to the students of Hyderabad but will also serve as a means of producing a skilled workforce for the IT and software industry of Sindh and Pakistan.

He further emphasized that there is no shortage of talent in Hyderabad the only need is to provide opportunities. Such measures will enable the youth of Hyderabad to play a vital role in Pakistan’s Digital Vision 2030, while also creating new avenues of employment and contributing to the strengthening of the national economy.

President Saleem Memon highlighted that the Hyderabad Chamber has always urged the government to ensure modern education, IT institutes and technical training centers for the youth of interior Sindh. He expressed hope that both the Federal and Provincial Governments would also consider expanding admissions in other key disciplines such as Engineering, Business Administration and E-Commerce, so that the youth can become more competitive in the global market.

In conclusion, he thanked Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui for his remarkable contribution, stating that this initiative has instilled a new sense of hope among the youth of Hyderabad. He termed it a historic decision, one that will open new doors of knowledge, skills and opportunities for future generations.
