LAHORE: A drug court on Thursday ordered again the arrest of Tiktoker Hakeem Shahzad and blocking of his computerized national identity card (CNIC) in a case of illegal advertisements and selling unlicensed medicines after he failed to appear before the court despite repeated directions.
The court also directed registration of an FIR against Shahzad’s son, Naseebur Rehman, and his guarantor for submitting fake surety bonds in the same case.
The court had already issued non-bailable warrants of Hakeem Shahzad.
The Tiktoker Hakeem was booked on a complaint of a drug inspector, for publishing illegal advertisements and selling medicines without a valid license.
The complaint said Hakeem illegally promoted medicines through his website and had been misleading the youth through deceptive advertisements.
