KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 180,633 tonnes of cargo comprising 122,215 Tons of import cargo and 58,418 tonnes of export cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The total import cargo of 122,215 tonnes comprised of 72,350 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 27,572 tonnes of Bulk Cargo & 22,293 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 58,418 tonnes comprised of 52,842 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 340 tonnes of Bulk Cargo & 5,236 tonnes of Clinkers.
As man6y as, 05 ships namely, Eva Fuji, Wan Hai 622, Msc Kanoko, Cma Cgm Ningbo, & Sc Shanghai, berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 05 ships namely, Jin Shun He,
Swan Lake, De Rong 17, Eva Fuji, & M Tkhairpur, sailed from Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Falcon Majestic and Al-Qassar left the port on today morning, while three more ships, Hansa Africa, Jin Shum He and Alexandros-III are expected to sail on Thursday.
Cargo volume of 175,588 tonnes, comprising 107,748 tonnes imports cargo and 67,840 export cargo carried in 5,146 Containers (2,092 TEUs Imports &3,054 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 08 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Ultra Endurance and Meghna Sun & another ship, Wenche Victory scheduled to load/offload Cement, Coal and Palm oil are expected to take berths at MW-1, PQPET, PIBT and LCT on Thursday October 2nd, 2025.
