France’s BNP to target 13% ROTE in 2028

French bank BNP Paribas on Tuesday said it was setting a target of a return on tangible equity (ROTE) of 13% in 2028, as part of the medium-term plan it will announce in early 2027.

The group also expects its CET1 ratio to reach 12.5% by end-2027, it said in a statement.
