RAAST aggregator platform: CDC successfully integrates AKD Securities

KARACHI: The Central Depository Company of Pakistan (CDC) has officially integrated AKD Securities Limited with its RAAST Aggregator Platform, enabling investors to transfer funds instantly and securely.

The move, supported by Microlinks (Pvt) Limited, is part of CDC’s ongoing efforts to enhance digitalization, transparency, and efficiency in Pakistan’s capital market. The formal signing ceremony at CDC House saw Badiuddin Akber, Chief Executive Officer of CDC, and Hina Junaid Dhedhi, Chairperson of AKD Securities, signing the agreement, making the service immediately available for AKD Securities’ clients.

The RAAST system generates a unique Investment ID in IBAN format for each investor sub-account, allowing registered beneficiaries to transfer funds directly to the broker’s client account. Transactions are completed in real time, ensuring that funds are available for trading within minutes.
